Description
10′ tub flare (i.e. 10′ width at flare),Tub floor built of 10 gauge, side walls of 12 gauge steel,44″ (111.76 cm) heavy-duty hammermill located at rear of tub
It uses 64 hammers, mounted on 1¼″ (3.18 cm) case-hardened rods, and 3/8″ thick rotor plates
8-belt drive system, spring-tensioned (to maintain constant tension as belts wear & stretch
The drive is via PTO (1,000 rpm), through multiple belts, using either a 1-3/8″ × 21-spline or 1-3/4″ × 20-spline shaft
ub drive is via hydraulic motor, with a continuous toothed chain gear around tub, tensioned by dual spring tensioners
Bolt-in mill grate / slug bar combination; operator can adjust the number of grate/slug bars depending on grinding conditions
Screen options from 1/8″, 3/16″, ¼″ up to larger hole sizes (up to 8″) to control output particle size
Dual augers (12″ diameter × 4′ length) move ground material to the discharge / stacking conveyor
Hydraulic folding, stacking conveyor: 21′ long × 24″ wide, capable of stacking to ~14′-9″ height at a 40° incline
Requires a minimum of 150 HP, up to 315 HP on PTO
Hydraulic output required: ~ 8 gpm at 1,500 psi (for conveyor & tub tilt / fold circuits)
