What are your hours?

Monday through Friday: 7am to 4pm. Saturday: 8am to 12pm (seasonal — call to confirm). Sunday: Closed.

Who owns and operates Wakarusa Ag?

The Martin family — Franklin Martin and his four sons Dwight, Dwayne, Delvin, and Darrin. The family also operates Wakarusa Nutritional Services, a custom dairy ration blending business, which gives us a unique depth of knowledge about feed mixing and dairy operations.

What brands of tractors do you sell?

We are an authorized dealer for Deutz-Fahr tractors and TYM compact tractors. Deutz-Fahr covers utility through high-HP agricultural tractors. TYM covers sub-compact through compact utility. We carry both new and used inventory.

Do you sell used farm equipment?

Yes. We carry used tractors, used TMR mixers, used hay and forage equipment, and more. Visit our Used Equipment page or call us for current availability.

Do Deutz-Fahr tractors require DEF fluid?

Select models in the current 4 Series lineup do not require DEF and have no DPF regen cycle. This is a significant operational advantage for many of our customers. Call us to confirm which specific models qualify.

What is a TMR mixer and do I need one?

TMR stands for Total Mixed Ration. A TMR mixer blends all components of a cattle or dairy ration — hay, silage, grain, and supplements — into a uniform mix. Every animal gets the same balanced nutrition in every bite. Producers who switch to TMR feeding consistently report improved milk production, better feed efficiency, and improved herd health. We have sold Penta vertical TMR mixers since 2001 and can help you assess whether TMR feeding is right for your operation.

What is a flex draper head and how does it differ from a standard platform?

A flex draper head like the Honey Bee uses a flexible cutterbar that follows ground contours during harvest and a draper belt to move cut crop to the feeder house. Compared to a rigid platform head, a flex draper cuts closer to the ground on uneven terrain and reduces losses on down or tangled crops. They are particularly popular on soybeans and small grains where harvest efficiency matters most.

What do I need to rent equipment?

A valid driver’s license, proof of equipment insurance, and a deposit are standard requirements. Call us ahead of time — requirements can vary by equipment type.

Do you deliver rental equipment?

Delivery is available for select equipment and locations. Call to discuss your situation.

Service & Parts

Do you offer mobile equipment service?

Yes. We offer on-site field service for farm and select construction equipment across our northern Indiana service area. Call 574-862-1163 to schedule a field service call.

How quickly can I get a service appointment?

For routine service, most customers can get an appointment within 1 to 3 business days. Emergency service — particularly during planting, harvest, and feeding season — is handled as urgently as possible. Call us directly for time-sensitive needs.

Do you have loaner equipment for service customers?

Yes. If we cannot repair your equipment the same day we receive it, we will provide a loaner unit where available so your operation is not interrupted. This applies especially to TMR mixers and tractors.

Do you service brands you did not sell?

In many cases, yes. Call us with the make and model and we will tell you whether our technicians can service it. We carry Donaldson filters that cross-reference to virtually all major brands, so parts support is broad even for non-stocked brands.
